Teaching Experience

2014 - PresentThe Ohio State University; Columbus, OH.

Arts Scholars Program Manager and Course Instructor. Manage co-curricular program for 330 high achieving undergraduates in the visual and performing arts. Duties include:

Teaching 3-4 sections of an arts interdisciplinary seminar for First-Year students each semester and advising Second-Year students on individual projects to complete their Scholars designation.

Planning and executing visual and performing arts programming for students in the program ranging from community building, arts content, and professional development.

Coordinate and plan Learning Experiences outside of Ohio for students to Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, and Chicago in collaboration with University Advancement and Development.

Recruit diverse prospective visual and performing arts students at events across the country in addition to visiting high schools for music clinics.

Read, interpret, and evaluate applications for students to Honors and Scholars at The Ohio State University and make admission decisions.

Supervise Graduate Administrative Associate (10 hours weekly).

2013 - PresentBlue Lake Fine Arts Camp; Twin Lake, MI.

Music Faculty. Teach group clarinet, bass clarinet, world music, and chamber music. Provide private instruction to counselors. Perform in faculty ensembles, showcase concerts, and solo recitals.

Coached a wide variety of chamber ensembles.
